Just a few short days ago, AT&T announced an incentive that would essentially pay a customer up to $450 to switch from T-Mobile. This was obviously done in retaliation of all of T-Mobile’s advertising mud-slinging, along with their prior UNcarrier initiatives. At their UNcarrier 4.0 press conference at today’s CES proceedings, T-Mobile announced they had yet another gut-punch lined up for AT&T and all their other competitors.
T-Mobile dubbed it their “Get Out Of Jail Free” card, and if the name isn’t enough for you, we have all the details. T-Mobile is offering you up to $350 per line that you switch over from AT&T, Verizon, or Sprint that could be used to help offset any early termination fees you might accrue from making the switch. In addition to a $350 switcher credit, T-Mobile is also offering up to $300 more for trading in a “current” smartphone which added to the fact that T-Mobile offers almost all of their phones at $0 down right now(pending credit approval), that could make for a really sweet deal.
