This week at E3, we were treated to a mind-blowing showing from Bend Studio’s next big gaming venture. The studio behind the PS Vita hit, Uncharted: Golden Abyss is back at it, this time with an ambitious zombie apocalypse shooter titled Days Gone.
Days Gone drops players in the after math of a global pandemic that has killed almost everyone. The survivors were left horribly disfigured, and feral, essentially like the ghouls from Fallout. You get to play as Deacon St. John, a bad ass bounty hunter who possess all the skill necessary to live and survive in the new world. The game looks to be fast and furious, with zombies capable of popping out of the deepest darkest corners, and featuring the single largest zombie hordes I have ever seen.
Days Gone is going to be a massive, open-world adventure packed with plot twists and unique character interactions. Gamers will deal with love, loss, betrayal, and retribution all within the beautiful scenery of the pacific northwest.
Check out the announce trailer below, along with some extended game play footage to see just how insane the zombie hordes can be.
