AT&T is adding a bit more variety to it’s GoPhone plans in an effort to combat T-Mobile’s aggressive pricing strategy. Starting next week (April 25th), AT&T will be enhancing their existing offerings for GoPhone customers by adding more data, along with the ability to tether on the highest plan. Highlights from the changes on the plans are below:
- The $60 monthly smartphone plan will now include 2.5GB of data, unlimited talk and text, and the ability to use your phone as a mobile hotspot.
- The $40 monthly smartphone plan will now include 500MB of data, 500 minutes and unlimited text.
- A Wal-Mart exclusive plan, giving subscribers 1GB of data, and unlimited talk and text for $45 a month.
The plan for basic and messaging phones will also see a drop in price, as it will move from $50 a month, down to $45 a month for all you can eat talk, text, and web.
Any existing GoPhone users out there excited for these new plans?
